Inn of the Mountain Gods is New Mexico's premier resort-casino, the only AAA four diamond rated resort in southern New Mexico and home to the state's first Topgolf Swing Suite

Inn of the Mountain Gods today announced it is opening New Mexico’s first Topgolf Swing Suite, featuring two Topgolf simulator bays, comfortable lounge seating and food and beverage service.

Guests can enjoy a variety of virtual golf and non-golf games, including the popular Topgolf target game, Zombie Dodgeball, Hockey Shots, Baseball Pitching, Carnival Classic and more in a space that features ultra-comfortable lounge seating in a swanky atmosphere. Design elements include wood-look tile flooring, modern copper ceiling tiles, elegant wallpaper with a soft metallic sheen and tufted leather wall panels in a rich chocolate brown surrounding the simulator bays.

The opening of Topgolf Swing Suite comes on the heels of several other recent additions at the AAA Four Diamond-rated property including The Spa at the Inn and Sportsbook at the Inn, powered by William Hill.

“Inn of the Mountain Gods is committed to bringing the most cutting-edge offerings to our guests,” said Frizzell Frizzell, Jr., COO at Inn of the Mountain Gods. “It is with great pride we welcome Topgolf Swing Suite to Mescalero and add one more incredible amenity for our guests to enjoy.”

PGA TOUR pros Tiger Woods, Jordan Spieth and Jason Day use the same Full Swing Golf simulator technology for their off-course practice as guests will encounter at the Topgolf Swing Suite at Inn of the Mountain Gods.

With a massive screen and a selection of exciting virtual games, Topgolf Swing Suite delivers one-of-a-kind simulation that’s fun for golfers and non-golfers alike. Along with creating a year-round attraction for guests, Topgolf Swing Suite will allow them to go from smashing a 7-iron to striking out a batter with a fastball to ending the zombie apocalypse in a matter of minutes.

Up to eight people can play, eat and engage in each bay. The spaces will be available to rent for business and social gatherings, including corporate meetings, birthday and bachelor/bachelorette parties, team building events and more.

“We are proud to team with Inn of the Mountain Gods to provide a new kind of interactive social experience that will entertain visitors of all ages and skill levels in Southern New Mexico,” said Topgolf Swing Suite President Ron Powers. “Powered by industry-leading Full Swing simulators, games are designed for both non-golfers and golfers alike so everyone can have a great time.”

The Inn of the Mountain Gods’ Topgolf Swing Suite is expected to open to the public February 22 and will be located on the 2nd floor near the hotel’s pool. The Topgolf Swing Suite will be open seven days a week from noon to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
