New Mobile App Seeks to Rebuild Trust Between Police and the Community
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) October 23, 2015 -- "I Just Got Stopped" (IJGS), a new mobile app available on iPhone and Android, offers the average civilian a reliable way to ensure proper procedure is followed when stopped by the police. Developed by Dallas tech firm Southtech Digital, the app was designed to bridge the gap between the police and the community by using the latest mobile technology to hold police officers accountable during traffic stops, while also providing civilians with useful information and tips on how to properly and safely conduct oneself when confronted by law enforcement officers.

IJGS will audio and/or video record a user’s police encounter, and immediately notify up to 5 emergency contacts with GPS location. Should the stop take longer than expected, the app will automatically notify the user’s attorney with the last known location. All of this information is saved to the phone and immediately and securely uploaded to the cloud for later retrieval should the phone get confiscated or destroyed.
