Titanium Plates can be produced in sizes up to 28” x 58” and 0.125” thick with precise, burr-free channels..

Titanium Plates are manufactured by chemically machining all channel depths to ±0.001” simultaneously with exact repeatability.

Photofabrication Engineering, Inc. has introduced custom fabricated photo etched titanium fuel cell plates, micro-channel plates, and heat exchangers with deep, precise burr-free channels.

PEI Photo Etched Titanium Plates can be produced in sizes up to 28” x 58” and 0.125” thick with burr-free channels and precise depths. Chemically machining all channel depths to ±0.001” simultaneously, this process eliminates the costs associated with mechanical production methods such laser or conventional machining which can also be provided where applicable.

Capable of exact channel repeatability, PEI Photo Etched Titanium Plates can also be made from stainless steels and other materials and incorporate permanent markings such as flow direction, part numbers, instructions, and logos. Applications include fuel cells, micro-channel plates, and stackable heat exchangers.
