Written by a young woman who has experienced many changes in life, “Dance of the Heart” (published by Archway Publishing) by Grace VanSciver inspires beauty in the ordinary and the discovery of a dance unique to the reader themselves.

“Dance of the Heart” is a compilation of poetry and thoughts that originate from relating to others through struggles and other challenges on the personal level. VanSciver’s goal is to encourage readers to love who they are. She shares that readers don't have to pretend to be someone else because they are individually unique and have a lot to offer the world.

“As humans, it’s a challenge to accept the real inside us — to look at our heart, soul, and skin, and find it beautiful. But it is, and you are,” VanSciver shares. “This book touches on each aspect of a person, yet takes it a step further and celebrates each individual, encouraging the reader to step out and to perform the dance of their heart.”
