New Scholarship from Centre Technologies Empowers Next Generation of Technology Innovators
Houston, TX (PRWEB) March 13, 2015 -- Houston-based Centre Technologies is inviting technology students in Texas and Louisiana, at any level of their collegiate studies, to apply for the Kathy Pace Technology Scholarship.
“The scholarship honors the spirit of my late mother, Kathy Pace,” says Centre CEO Chris Pace, “We want to award this scholarship to a student who exemplifies our values. We’re a solution-driven and value oriented company, and we believe technology is a tool that should be used to help businesses and the community succeed together. The student who takes home this scholarship will be an innovator who wants to use technology to improve lives.”
Centre Technologies was founded in Houston, TX in 2006, and has since then grown and opened offices in Dallas, Austin, and New Orleans. In 2014, the company received six awards – three local and three national – recognizing their rapid growth and success. The Kathy Pace Technology Scholarship is their first in the company’s history.
To be eligible for the $5,000 technology scholarship, applicants must be enrolled in college in Texas or Louisiana, and pursuing a degree in a technology-related field. This includes degrees in engineering, computer science, information technology, graphic design, robotics, and more. Additionally, the Kathy Pace Technology Scholarship is not exclusive to incoming freshman – any technology student, at any level of their collegiate study, is encouraged to apply by May 1, 2015.
