New Spill Center Blog Helps Companies Control HAZMAT Costs
Hudson, Mass. (PRWEB) December 11, 2014 -- Costs associated with an environmental spill of hazardous materials, diesel fuel or other regulated materials can mount up fast unless the release is contained quickly and prevented from entering a waterway. Fines and penalties can add to the cost if the spill is not reported to the authorities within the time specified.

The average amount released is 104 gallons. The average cost to clean it up nationwide can top $15,000, related Tom Moses, president and founder of Spill Center.

We also control costs by knowing the ins and outs of efficiently managing the cleanup and transportation and disposal of contaminated soil and wastes,” noted Moses.
