MIAMI, Aug. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dr. Thomas A. Pane, a prestigious surgeon at Jolie Plastic Surgery has recently performed and in-depth research about buttock augmentation with fat transfer on patients undergoing this procedure in Miami. The study was published August 07, 2018 by Oxford University Press in their Aesthetic Surgery Journal.
Out of the 137 patients analyzed in the study, aged 19-56 years, one hundred eighteen (86.1%) are satisfied with the results. They didn't complain about the size of the buttocks being too large, and only twelve patients (8.8%) had minor cosmetic issues following surgery. Nineteen patients (13.9%) wanted larger buttocks, and another ten patients (7.3%) had minor medical complications. No patient suffered major complications such as fat embolism, venous thromboembolism, infection or skin loss. The study concludes that the high volume of buttock fat grafting is effective in buttock augmentation procedures and complications are rare with surgical expertise.
Dr. Pane graduated from the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine and completed a five-year general surgical residency at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts with training in Plastic Surgery at the Detroit Medical Center.
