New TracFax App Greatly Expands Reach for the Most Dynamic and Efficient Way to Manage Property

Property managers, contractors and other stakeholders with iPhones can more easily access crucial real-time data from anywhere

A Twin Cities company announced today a significant expansion in the capability of its cloud-based platform that streamlines the management of properties big and small.

TracFax now offers an app that can be downloaded on Apple iPhones, creating greater opportunity for many more building owners and managers, as well as contractors and other stakeholders to have instant in-the-field access to all the crucial data connected with various types of property.

"Regardless of the phone that you are using, we have an app that connects you to your data," said Tony Swendsrud, TracFax’s president. Previously, the company’s app was only available for Android smart phones.

”Now we've completed the cycle, where it doesn't matter which device you have in the field," Swendsrud said.

Whether accessed on a PC atop a desk or on an iPhone or Android smartphone, the TracFax software eliminates a significant amount of duplication in data entry. For example, when a property manager reaches out for maintenance, prospective service providers can submit their proposals through TracFax for the property manager to review. Those proposals and related contracts are gathered in one location for easy scrutiny. The next year, the project can be duplicated and sent out with entry redundancies eliminated.

The major growth in TracFax’s smartphone footprint means no more accessing the platform through a less user-friendly web browser for whoever needs to tend to their business needs in connection with a property, whether it be maintenance, contract bidding or regulatory compliance.

"You just open the app, touch a button, and the picture of the property is right there, and everything is communicated back," Swendsrud said. "It's simpler, faster and easier to use.”

Mobility is also crucial when it comes to staying on top of property management and fulfilling contractor obligations.

“We are taking our business more outside than inside,” said Nick Foley, TracFax’s system architect. “It allows you to work in the field" with real-time data.
