In response to the transition to a remote work environment for many companies over the past year, New View Strategies is pleased to share their new course catalog with 65 role-based Boot Camps and classes optimized for the virtual class environment. In conjunction, the company is honored to be approved by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) to offer CPE credits with their online classes.

“It was a significant shift, but a necessary one,” shared Kerry Peters, CEO. “Traditionally we’ve had great success with our in-person boot camps. Customers of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central historically preferred to attend classes in person to take advantage of the face-to-face interaction with the instructor, and to expand their network meeting other customers in similar roles.” She continued, “Conducting a training class in a virtual classroom is entirely different than leading one in-person. It was an enormous effort to break down and re-construct our classes to match our standards for value and retention. Almost everything is different when teaching online – class timing, how to assemble the topics with a shorter class, how your keep the class engaging, and much more. But we were pleased to make this investment so we can now share our knowledge regardless of location and on a much more accommodating schedule.”

There are now 65 Boot Camps and classes available from New View Strategies, covering the entire range of functional topics for Business Central, including finance and accounting, manufacturing, warehouse and supply chain, sales and service, and system setup and administration. Each class has been optimized for the virtual classroom and adapted for the ever-increasingly busy Business Central user. Rather than offering classes based on traditional topics, classes are designed from a role-based perspective, taking into account that user’s responsibilities and daily tasks. While every class is available individually, classes have been organized into nine role-based curriculums, providing a roadmap for the user to advance their skills and confidence. Classes are available as a public class, or as a private one for those companies that would like to train their team and discuss their specific challenges.

As part of the training update, New View Strategies was approved to offer Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits with its online classes. “This is a significant achievement for us,” revealed Kim Congleton, COO. “So many of our class participants are eager to learn more about the system but struggle to find time in their schedule. Especially for CPAs and other professionals who must complete continuing education, acquiring the credits they need at the same time is a significant value for them, so we felt pursuing the accreditation was the right thing to do.”
