New WarrantCheck.com Records Check for Criminal Complaints
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 26, 2013 -- WarrantCheck.com has expanded their services to let customers know if the police have filed a criminal complaint against them, the company announced yesterday.
“People move around a good deal these days,” a WarrantCheck.com spokesman said. “This means that if someone has filed a criminal complaint against another person, it may be hard for law enforcement to find them and serve the complaint.”
If there is a complaint against a customer and they don't respond to it, a warrant could eventually be issued for their arrest, the WarrantCheck.com spokesman said.
“There are a lot of reasons a complaint may be filed against an individual,” he said. “They may have an angry ex who has filed a nuisance complaint. Or a former landlord may have filed a complaint for damages. The important thing is to know about the complaint so they can can settle it before a warrant is issued for their arrest.”
Under the new system, when people search their name on WarrantCheck.com not only will outstanding warrants come up, but the complaints will appear in the report as well.
“People really don't know if there is a complaint against them until they actually search,” he said. “We had one case where a guy had forgotten to forward his change of address to a credit card company, and they lodged a theft by deception complaint against him.”
The complaint search function is currently live on WarrantCheck.com..
