It’s great to be back on the East End in July to celebrate the popularity of rose and sparkling wines amidst the lush backdrop of Long Island Wine Country. This year, we’ve added Rosé Splash to create a unique experience for rosé wine enthusiasts... with stunning views of New York Harbor.
NEW YORK (PRWEB) July 11, 2019
New York Wine Events will host a duo of summer wine and food tasting events presented by Citi on Long Island’s East End and NYC’s Hudson Harbor. The 2nd Annual Summer Rosé & Bubbly Fest takes place Saturday, July 20 at RGNY (formerly Martha Clara Vineyards) in Riverhead, New York and Rosé Splash, the latest addition to New York Wine Events’ tastings, and will be held Saturday, August 3 aboard the Spirit of New York, sailing from Manhattan’s Pier 61 at Chelsea Piers.
Each summer wine tasting will spotlight an array of domestic and international wineries with diverse rosé and sparkling selections to sip, paired with light fare at the buffets including cheeses, charcuterie, crudités, breads, and crackers. Numerous food and beverage tables sampling artisanal and popular brand offerings will be featured as well. Guests can keep their complimentary custom wine tasting glass as a souvenir and chat with the winemakers, vineyard personnel, and craft food makers to learn all about their offerings, directly from the source. North Fork and New York State farm wineries will also be selling the wines by the bottle or case and artisanal food makers will have full-size products on hand available for purchase.
"Citi is proud to be presenting sponsor of both summer events and thrilled to continue our partnership with New York Wine Events. Through this partnership, Citi cardmembers continue to receive special access and exclusive benefits at New York Wine Events throughout the year," notes Scott MacDougall, Citi, SVP Entertainment.
“It’s great to be back on the East End in July to celebrate the popularity of rose and sparkling wines amidst the lush backdrop of Long Island Wine Country. Just a short trip from New York City and its suburbs, it’s important to us to introduce this breathtaking region and all it offers to those who haven’t yet visited. We also see many familiar faces returning annually to our North Fork events for a fun day experiencing new wines,” Sam Kimball, the founder of New York Wine Events explains. “This year, we’ve added Rosé Splash to create a unique experience for rosé wine enthusiasts out on New York Harbor with stunning skyline views.”
The July 20th Summer Rosé & Bubbly Fest will feature wine, spirits, artisanal food and beverage tasting tables located throughout RGNY’s Northville Barn and a spacious tent. On August 3rd, the Spirit of New York cruise ship sets sail with a lively rosé-themed fete offering wine, spirits, artisanal food and beverage stations on 3 decks. For a complete list of exhibitors for both dates, visit the event web pages on NewYorkWineEvents.com
Tickets for both tastings are on sale now, priced from $50-$125 (depending upon event, time of purchase and level of ticket). Check the New York Wine Events web site for details about limited time discounts, 15% savings for groups of 10 or more, travel packages to Long Island via chartered motor coaches, hotel discounts, and New York Wine Events’ “Taste VIP” program membership benefits.
