Award-winning Company Balances Profits With Purpose

Fix & Fogg makes the world's best nut butters.

We’re very happy to be making our nut butters in the United States, using the same peanuts and high-quality ingredients we’ve used since we started Fix & Fogg in 2013

Fix & Fogg, the award-winning gourmet natural nut butter company based in Wellington, New Zealand, has announced its expansion into the U.S., establishing offices and a retail store front in Houston, Texas. Fix & Fogg USA’s online store now ships to every state, and their products are available on, and at select stores nationwide.

“We’re very happy to be making our nut butters in the United States, using the same peanuts and high-quality ingredients we’ve used since we started Fix & Fogg in 2013,” said Roman Jewell, who cofounded the company in 2013 with his wife Andrea. “Getting our nut butters to the USA, the home of peanut butter, has always been a dream of ours, and we know our new fans will taste the difference,” he added.

Fix & Fogg began selling its award-winning nut butters in the United States in 2018 through Last year, Fix & Fogg’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter was one of the top five selling peanut butters on Amazon and was the top-ranked independent nut butter company.

Fix & Fogg USA now sells 12 different nut butters, including Almond Butter (Smooth and Super Crunchy), Peanut Butter (Smooth and Crunchy), Cashew Butter (Creamy), Almond Cashew & Maple Butter, Chocolate Almond Butter, Chocolate Hazelnut Butter, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, Peanut Coffee & Maple Butter, Smoke & Fire Peanut Butter (with added New Mexico Hatch green chile, natural Manuka smoke and Spanish smoked paprika), and Everything Butter (with hemp, chia, sesame, sunflower, flaxseeds and pumpkin seeds with peanuts and almonds). All Fix & Fogg products are made with non-GMO ingredients and are gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan-friendly, and contain no palm oil, hydrogenated oils, added sugars, emulsifiers or additives.

Fix & Fogg sources high-oleic peanuts from the Córdoba region of Argentina for all of its peanut butters. These peanuts have high levels of monounsaturated fats (39%) like those found in olive oil, which have been linked to health benefits. According to Cofounder Roman Jewell, not only are high-oleic peanuts good for you, but they taste better too. “The terroir of Córdoba peanuts is naturally sweeter, resulting in a better-tasting peanut butter,” he said.

Since 2017, Fix & Fogg nut butters have won nearly 20 awards in New Zealand, Asia, Australia, and the United States. In 2020, Fix & Fogg’s Everything Butter won a Gold Award at the Specialty Food Association’s annual sofi™ Awards in the Nut, Seed and Confectionery Butters category.

Fix & Fogg also balances purpose and profit. Fix & Fogg is the first New Zealand owned food manufacturer to be awarded B Corporation™ certification. B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability. The company believes strongly in giving back to the community, regularly contributing donations and free jars of its award-winning products to charities in New Zealand and the United States.
