Newport Dental® Delivers Smiles in Orange County, California
In Partnership with the Smiles for Everyone Foundation, Newport Dental® Serves Low-Income Patients
FULLERTON, Calif., Feb. 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On Sunday, February 23rd, volunteers from Newport® Dental partnered with the Smiles for Everyone Foundation to make a difference in their community. Four dentists and over 20 support staff came together to provide free cleanings, fillings, extractions and more at the Fullerton Day of Giving.
Individuals were referred to the event by local nonprofit organizations that partnered with the Smiles for Everyone Foundation. Some of these groups include, United Way of Orange County, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Families Forward.
For many patients, the greatest impact of this event was the sense of relief from not worrying about the cost of their oral healthcare. "I know that I need to visit the dentist, but I am scared of the pricing," admitted patient Kharla P. "This stops me and my family from visiting." Another anonymous patients further explains, "This event is very beneficial for people like me who can't afford dental care. Thank you for all the hard work that you do."
The Smiles for Everyone Foundation would like to thank each of the volunteers, including SFEF Board Member, Dr. Robert Crim; Dr. Rachel Bui, Dr. Codruta Julia Fosman, Dr. Michelle Ho, and Dr. Richard Lim. It was with their hard work and dedication that we were able to deliver Smiles to underinsured patients in Southern California!
