NewsWatch Recently Featured the “Sony QX10 and QX100” Lenses on National Television

The QX Lenses connect wirelessly to smartphones and allow users to take and share incredibly high quality photos.
The QX10 is an 18 megapixel camera with an impressive 10x optical zoom lens that blows away a smartphone’s digital zoom. Its image sensor is nearly twice as big as what’s found on most smartphone cameras, meaning higher quality photos. The QX10 weighs 3 ounces and is around an inch thick.
The QX100 is a 20 megapixel camera with a 1-inch image sensor for incredibly high quality photos and High Definition video. Both “lens-cameras” can snap onto a phone with the adapter or can be held separately for self-portraits, group shots, or other fun photos.
To connect the QX lens to an android-based phone, tap the phone to the camera and it will connect via the phone’s NFC capabilities. For iPhones, users must launch the Sony application and input a password the first connection.
