Next Concept HR Association Announces CEO to Exit After Third Quarter
CEO Greg Morton has decided to resign from his post for personal reasons, effective September 30, 2019.
SAN FRANCISCO, March 8, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Next Concept HR Association (NCHRA), with members in 23 states and several foreign countries, announced today that CEO Greg Morton has decided to resign from his post for personal reasons, effective September 30, 2019. The association's Governing Board is actively defining a process to select a new executive to replace Mr. Morton and ensure a smooth transition for the organization. Morton's plans are to work closely with the board in identifying his replacement and will be fully operational in his role as CEO through the end of the third quarter.

Ludlow noted that Morton oversaw the organization's re-establishment of its independence from its previous status as an affiliate of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and in 2018, the organization rebranded as Next Concept HR Association from the previous Northern California HR Association. Morton was instrumental in growing the association's legacy HR event, the HR West Conference, and launched a successful new event franchise, HR TechXpo. During Morton's tenure, NCHRA transitioned from a strictly local organization to a regional producer of HR programming.

Morton is a 20-year veteran of the Human Capital services space, having joined the association in 2015. Prior to his role as CEO of NCHRA, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer for the international consulting firm Great Place to Work, where he helped produce Fortune Magazine's Best Place to Work list. Earlier in his career, he was instrumental in growing HR outsourcer, Insperity (NYSE: NSP) through his roles in sales leadership and as VP of Marketing.
Mr. Ludlow has been an NCHRA governing board member since 2015 and Board President since 2019. Additionally, he is Group Vice President at SAP Labs, LLC, where he focuses on global human capital management (HCM) solutions.
