NFCC Welcomes Cambridge Credit Counseling as Newest Member

The National Foundation for Credit Counseling® expands its nationwide network of nonprofit financial counseling organizations with the addition of Cambridge Credit Counseling.

Cambridge Credit Counseling demonstrates a deep commitment to financial health, which is much needed at this time when the financial pressures on American families are mounting.

The National Foundation for Credit Counseling® (NFCC®) proudly announces the addition of its newest member, Cambridge Credit Counseling. As a nonprofit provider of debt management and financial counseling, the mission of Cambridge is closely aligned with other organizations that comprise the national network of NFCC members.

Established in 1996, Cambridge has assisted more than a half-million Americans looking to regain control of their finances. As a new member, Cambridge Credit Counseling will maintain ISO 9001 certification through Bureau Veritas. As a requirement, all NFCC Members must maintain independent accreditation through that program or the Council on Accreditation (COA). The NFCC is also recognized within the sector, and by creditors, for its trademarked Counselor Certification Program. All NFCC certified counselors must be employed by an agency of the NFCC member network and must complete the NFCC’s comprehensive training program to ensure they are prepared to serve as objective financial advocates and provide quality education and assistance to consumers.
