For the sixth consecutive year, Business Insurance recognizes NFP as an outstanding employer in the insurance industry
NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- NFP, a leading property and casualty broker, benefits consultant, wealth manager, and retirement advisor, today announced it has been named to Business Insurance's annual list of Best Places to Work in Insurance for the sixth consecutive year. Notably, NFP's headcount has increased by more than 66% since receiving its initial Best Places to Work in Insurance award in 2017. The award recognizes employers for their outstanding performance in establishing workplaces where employees can thrive, enjoy their work and grow their careers.
"Being named a Best Place to Work by Business Insurance for the sixth consecutive year is particularly meaningful this year as we navigate the evolving workplace environment to advance our PeopleFirst culture," said Doug Hammond, chairman and CEO, NFP. "This award reflects the quality of our people and alignment of our values. It also points to our investments in employee well-being and a culture of belonging. We look forward to building from this recognition, growing our community and further solidifying our position as a destination for top talent."
"We are so proud to earn this award and witness the impact of aligning our beliefs with our actions," said Ginnette Quesada-Kunkel, NFP's chief human resources officer. "We have come a long way, and this consistent recognition motivates us to go even further. We will always advance a workplace our employees love being part of and contributing to as we support our clients and communities."
"Being a Best Place to Work is all about our team and their commitment to putting our values into practice," said Mary Steed, chief people officer at NFP. "We're growing, and competition for talented professionals is more intense than ever, so it's important to stand out. Inclusion on the Business Insurance list shows we're an employer of choice for people who bring diverse capabilities, experiences and perspectives to our organization."
Best Places to Work in Insurance is an annual sponsored content feature presented by the Custom Publishing unit of Business Insurance and Best Companies Group that lists the agents, brokers, insurance companies and other providers with the highest levels of employee engagement and satisfaction. The Harrisburg, Pennsylvania-based Best Companies Group identifies the leading employers in the insurance industry by conducting a free two-part assessment of each company. The first part is a questionnaire completed by the employer about company policies, practices and demographics. The second part is a confidential employee survey on engagement and satisfaction.
The program divides employers into three categories: small, 25 – 249 employees; medium, 250 – 999 employees; and large, 1,000 or more employees. This year's report features 100 companies of various sizes, from 25 employees to more than 4,000.
The ranking and profiles of the winning companies will be unveiled in the November issue of Business Insurance and online at BusinessInsurance.com.
