NFP Acquires Olson & Olson Insurance Services, Inc., Broadening Its Solutions in the Western US

A team of highly experienced risk management professionals joins NFP to lead the expansion of the company’s commercial P&C capabilities in greater Denver

NFP, a leading property and casualty broker, benefits consultant, wealth manager and retirement advisor, today announced it has acquired Olson & Olson Insurance Services, Inc. (Olson), expanding its commercial P&C capabilities in the Denver marketplace. Firm leaders Darrell Olson II and Lance Olson will join NFP and report to John Hohman, president, West region, NFP. The transaction closed in September.

With offices in Greenwood Village and Loveland, Colorado, Olson is a multi-disciplinary insurance broker with capabilities in commercial and personal lines P&C, surety bonds, and group benefits, with a specialty focus in the construction industry. Olson has also established a partnership program with the Colorado Brewers Guild and is the exclusive broker offering various insurance solutions to member brewers.
