NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides property and casualty, corporate benefits, retirement, and individual solutions, is again partnering with GenHERation, a network where young women and companies connect, to advance career opportunities for young millennial women and the rising Gen Z. In the fourth year of their relationship, NFP will host Discovery Days in its Austin and Charlotte offices on June 26 and July 22, respectively.
GenHERation Discovery Days are immersive day trips that connect high school and college women with some of the most innovative companies in America to close the gender career achievement gap. NFP is one of four stops along GenHERation’s tour of companies in both the Austin and Charlotte markets. Each NFP office will open its doors to provide opportunities for participants to network with key executives, join skill-building workshops, and engage in panel discussions.

This fall, NFP will also speak at Campus Connection tours in additional cities and lead two financial education workshops. Momentum in the relationship remains strong. In 2016, NFP sent one leader as a hop-on hop-off speaker along the New York City bus tour. In 2017, NFP sent additional leaders as speakers on bus tours across seven cities, and sponsored a competitive project that rewarded the top entrant with mentoring sessions. In 2018, NFP’s Austin office hosted its first Discovery Day, sponsoring tickets for current interns and employees’ daughters to attend.
