New York, NY (PRWEB) October 11, 2017 -- Keith Hoffman, Vice President of Disability and Corporate Benefits at NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property & casualty, retirement and individual private client solutions, is the proud recipient of the 2017 W. Harold Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award presented by The International DI Society. Hoffman accepted this award at the 13th annual International DI Society conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
The W. Harold Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award is awarded to an individual who has demonstrated dedication to their field of expertise in disability insurance, exhibits leadership in their professional life and has made a distinctive contribution to the disability insurance industry.
“The International DI Society is honored to have Keith as this year’s recipient of the W. Harold Petersen Lifetime Achievement Award,” said Todd Shield, IDIS President. “Keith has shown great dedication to our organization and he continually goes above and beyond to promote income protection with his vast knowledge, training and leadership. We are proud to bestow Keith, an outstanding recipient, with our highest award.”
Ed O’Malley, President, Corporate Benefits and Individual Solutions at NFP, presented this award to Hoffman during the awards lunch on Oct. 10, 2017.
“I can’t think of a more deserving recipient for this award,” said O’Malley. “I’ve had the privilege of working with Keith for the past 11 years, bearing witness to the passion he has for disability insurance and its impact on those who purchase the program. Keith has helped build NFP’s disability practice into a robust platform, providing sales and support services to all of NFP’s channels. Keith is a trailblazer in recruiting, educating and motivating sales leaders, and is a genuinely kindhearted human being. Serving as a role model in his personal life, Keith has found ways to give back to the community, from patient advocacy for prostate cancer to financial education for students and adults.”
Hoffman provides a Disability Insurance Sales training course each year to extend IDIS membership to his NFP colleagues. In 2017 alone, 11 NFP employees completed the program and earned disability insurance certificates.
