Nike Field Hockey Camps adds New Field Hockey Camp to Maryland
Nike Field Hockey Camps has added a new location to Wicomico County in Maryland. This field hockey camp in Salisbury will take place at Salisbury University, and will be directed by Assistant Field Hockey Coach, Lindsey Barbacow.
SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Feb. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The new addition of a Maryland field hockey camp in Salisbury will allow more players to improve in the sport they love while also competing with fellow players from around the Northeast area. This camp will run from June 20-23, and is open to girls ages, 10-18, of all ability levels.
Barbacow is no stranger to Nike Field Hockey Camps. She was previously the Nike Field Fockey Director and Head Coach at University of Mary Washington. During her time at UMW, she received NFHCA Region Coach of the Year and took the team to the semifinals of the NCAA National Tournament. Before coaching at UMW she was the Assistant Coach for the Salisbury Seagulls for three years and now she will return to the Sea Gull Stadium for the upcoming 2019 season.

At camp this summer players can expect to experience intensive and instructional drills used by collegiate field hockey players. Through live game play, campers will compete with other fellow field hockey players and use their defensive and offensive skills learned during camp. Goalkeepers can receive specialized training on techniques focusing on angles, positioning, and situations.
Players can choose between overnight and extended day programs (9:00am-9:00pm). Overnight campers can stay in the Salisbury University dorms and eat meals in the dining halls on campus. All campers can expect to receive 6-7 hours of daily field hockey instruction from Barbacow and her staff.
