SAN RAFAEL, Calif., July 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Nike Junior Golf Camps announced the addition of a new camp location at Chateau Golf & Country Club in Kenner, Louisiana for 2019. Nike Junior Golf Camps, Chateau Golf & Country Club offered two weeks of full day camp for members of the club and their guests, running Tuesday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Fernando Ritzman, an experienced Nike Camp coach and PGA Head Golf Professional, lead the camps with the club's assistant instructors assisting on staff.

Fernando Ritzman recently accepted the role of head golf professional at Chateau Golf & Country Club after working as an assistant professional at Bayou Oaks at City Park, another Nike Junior Golf Camp facility. Fernando is a PGA certified teaching professional and also serves as assistant coach for the Loyola University New Orleans Men's and Women's Golf Teams.

Chateau Golf & Country Club is a private, Par 72 championship golf facility equipped with a historic clubhouse, tournament-grade tennis facility, and pool. The course has hosted events for organizations such as the Louisiana Golf Association, USGA and PGA.
Nike Junior Golf Camps at Chateau Golf & Country Club offered two camp sessions in 2019 and plan to offer more in 2020. Session I ran June 4 – 7 and Session II is currently running July 16 – 19. The Full Day Camps run from 9:00am – 4:00pm and include morning instruction followed by lunch (included in the camp price) and afternoon course play each day. This program is catered to players of all ability levels, ages 7 – 16 and is open to Chateau members and their guests. Participants also receive a camp amenity package which includes a Nike hat, a pack of SRIXON golf balls, drawstring bag, camp workbook and more.
