SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Feb. 19, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Nike Tennis Camp at the University of Toledo is set to run two weeks of day and overnight camp for junior to high school age players looking to improve their game.

"Firstly, campers utilize Toledo's Division I courts and facilities, and secondly, players get to train with the University's tenured Head Tennis Coaches, who bring over 40 years of coaching experience on all levels of play."
Al Wermer, Head Men's Tennis Coach at the University of Toledo, is the winningest coach in the program's history. Now in his 25th season, "Coach Al" has received many accolades throughout his coaching career including the USPTA Midwest College Coach of the Year, ITA Midwest Community Service Award and has also served as ITA Division I Midwest Men's Regional Chairman.
Tracy Mauntler shares an equally impressive resume now entering her 17th season as Toledo's Head Women's Tennis Coach. The 2018 season saw Toledo place third in their conference, tying the program's record for most wins and reaching the semifinal of the MAC Tournament, only to fall to No. 2 seed Miami.

The Nike Tennis Camp at the University of Toledo offers two weeks of day and overnight camp during summer 2020, designed for beginning to elite level players. Residential campers utilize all of the campus' state-of-the-art facilities, including the University's cafeteria and Ottawa House dorms. Camps are co-ed and available for players, ages 8-18.
