SAN RAFAEL, Calif., March 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This Boston volleyball camp is set to run at Curry College and will offer three sessions of day or overnight volleyball camp this summer along with other exciting experiences for players to enhance their volleyball skills.
The camp is directed by Curry College Volleyball Head Coach, Bori May, and his elite staff. May is entering into his second year at Curry after coaching at Emmanuel College for many years and a two-year stint at Princeton University. With May's coaching resume, this camp will help players develop athletically and refine their fundamentals.
"During camp, we will make sure that the basics and fundamentals of the sport are a priority," says Bori May. "We intend to keep all players engaged with creative individual and team drills in a positive and competitive environment."
With a schedule designed to prepare athletes for their upcoming season, campers can expect to participate in challenging drills, live game play, and instructional demonstrations. All participants will receive 6-7 hours of daily volleyball training and eat meals in the Curry College dining halls, whether they are an overnight or extended day camper.
During the multiple week offerings, Nike Volleyball Camps is offering ELS programs for international players. Campers coming from different countries are able to work on improving their English language speaking skills through different level classes in addition to the daily volleyball instruction. With this unique opportunity, the camp typically attracts many international campers from all over the globe.
With 3 volleyball sessions at Curry College, players can attend multiple weeks by linking sessions together through extra night stay-overs or a Multi-Sport Recreation & Athletic Training stay over. The MSRAT is only offered after the first session of camp and is open to all overnight players. Campers can take part in physical conditioning sessions, recreational game-play with fellow athletes, and a Saturday afternoon trip into Boston with a special activity.
