SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Oct. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With over 9,200 campers in attendance at 78 locations across 30 states, Nike Volleyball Camps was able to bring fun and exciting volleyball camp experiences to players across the US.
The addition of 30 camps locations and new camp sessions helped make the year a great success. New areas such as Gettysburg, Fayetteville, and Farmingdale thrived with 100 campers at each location, while existing camp locations added volleyball serving clinics and boys volleyball camps, which attracted a significant number of players looking to improve their skills.
When asked about her son's experience at the University of Redlands, a new co-ed volleyball camp in Southern California, Donnikah K. stated, "At the end of each day, he would share with me a list of things he learned, and every day just got better and better. He is really looking forward to attending again next year!"
More advanced volleyball camps were also added to Nike Volleyball Camps. With the sport of volleyball on the rise, the need for higher-level skilled camps is increasingly important. At the Advanced Volleyball Camps, players had the chance to enhance their skills at a more competitive level with a more rigorous and elite level training.
"The camp offered exactly what my daughter needed," stated a mother of an advanced camper at Skagit Valley College. "The coaches were very engaged with all athletes and offered Mallory new ways to work on her form and just be a well-rounded player over all."
This past summer, campers were also offered the opportunity to go abroad and compete with local European teams. Nike Volleyball Camps sent two volleyball teams, one to Italy and Germany and another to Spain, to compete and improve their skills against the local volleyball teams. Through sightseeing adventures, city walks, volleyball training, and competition, the European tours combined both volleyball and unique cultural experiences for the entire family to enjoy.
Nike Volleyball Camps hopes to continue this momentum into the summer of 2020 by feeding off of the positive feedback from this past summer. Their plan is to add more serving clinics at existing camps that attract a large number of campers. More camps in major cities are also on the horizon as they are looking to expand throughout the US, which allows more volleyball players the opportunity to gain confidence and build their fundamentals. With beach volleyball becoming more popular throughout the US, players will have more opportunities to attend a beach volleyball camp.
