Sunriver Resort, a golf and outdoor destination located in Bend, Oregon, recently announced the addition of Nike Junior Golf Camps to its list of summer youth activities. Sunriver’s PGA Director of Instruction, Kevin Erdman, and PGA Head Golf Professional at Crosswater GC, Mark Meyer, are excited to offer these camps to young players of all ability levels looking to improve their game.

This camp will deliver an opportunity for juniors to be introduced to the game or improve their existing skills. With three 18-hole championship golf courses and a 9 hole Par-3 course, Sunriver Resort is the perfect setting for camp attendees and their families to enjoy.”

Kevin Erdman and his wife, Courtney, lead all instructional programs for juniors and adults at Sunriver. The couple has a passion for junior golf and competitive play as both Kevin and Courtney have a decorated background at the collegiate and professional level. Kevin and Courtney were also featured contestants on Golf Channel’s feature TV show, the “Big Break”. Courtney has played on several international tours including the LPGA Futures Tour. She was also the 2012 Southern California Women’s Section Champion. Chris Points is a Class A PGA instructor and serves as an assistant coach for the camps. Chris has been an instructor at Sunriver for 14 years and works with players of all ages and skill levels.

Sunriver Resort is a destination golf facility in Central Oregon boasting 63 holes of world-class golf. Carefully designed to preserve the natural beauty of the area, each golf course at the Bend, Oregon resort has a character all its own. Crosswater, home facility for the Nike Camp instruction, was voted as one of "America's 100 Greatest Courses” by Golf Digest.

The Nike Junior Golf Camp at Sunriver Resort is set to offer one full day camp the week of June 22-26 for Summer 2020. The full day camps are offered from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Friday, and include three hours of daily instruction covering all aspects of the game, lunch and on-course instruction in the afternoon. The majority of the instruction is scheduled to take place at Sunriver’s award-winning Crosswater Club and a combination of the other championship facilities will be used when available. Campers also have the opportunity to play the junior-friendly Caldera Links Par 3 course and compete in skills games for prizes (when available).
