SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Oct. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This new winter camp is set to be an addition to the Nike Volleyball Camp at Champions Hall. Players will train under long time Nike Volleyball Camp Director, Stephen McCarthy.
McCarthy already hosts camps at five locations across the Mid-West and East Coast regions. Champions Hall was one of his newest Minnesota volleyball camp locations in summer 2019, and it proved to be very popular, having over 50 campers for only one session.
Sheli T., parent of a camper at Champions Hall, exclaimed that "She loved every minute! She talked on and on about the things she was learning and how her skills were improving."
When asked about his daughter's experience at camp, Tim C. had nothing but positive statements. "This was Sophia's first introduction into volleyball, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff was very understanding and really helped her skills improve."
After reading feedback like this, it was no surprise that Siera Love, VP of Nike Volleyball Camps, and McCarthy wanted to add a camp session to the winter season. "We strive for camps to impact players not only on improving their skills, but also their confidence," says Love. "This new addition is a great way for players to continue to work on their skills year-round."
The winter camp will be geared towards girls, ages 10-18, and is for all ability levels. Players will be able to enhance their fundamentals, and also work on specific skills through series of different drills and live game play. Camp is set to run over the course of two days, December 30-31, and includes morning and afternoon training sessions.
