SAN RAFAEL, Calif., March 20, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Nike Volleyball Camp in Glenwood Springs will be held at Glenwood High School and will be directed by Rick Swan, the head volleyball coach at Colorado College.
This Colorado volleyball camp will be the first Nike Volleyball Camp in the state, which means that players from the Rocky Mountain area now have an opportunity to train with collegiate level coaches, such as Rick Swan, and fellow athletes.
Even though this will be Swan's first Nike Volleyball Camp, he is no stranger to the sport as he is currently entering his 22nd season at Colorado College. Since 1998, Swan had led the Tigers to 19 NCAA Division III playoffs, earned multiple Coach of the Year honors from AVCA, finished multiple seasons ranked in the top 20, and won a NCAA DIII Tournament. With his vast knowledge of volleyball, players are sure to experience a wide range of drills emphasizing fundamentals, mechanics, and conditioning.

While at camp, players will engage in drills used by collegiate athletes in a positive learning environment. Through Swan and his staff, campers are sure to improve their game in all aspects of volleyball and prepare for their upcoming season.
This camp is set to run from July 10-12 9:00am-3:00pm each day, and is for girls ages 10-18 of all ability levels.
