Norix, Inc., has introduced its new Prodigy collection of furniture designed for residential and inpatient behavioral health facilities. Building on the success of its Attenda furniture line, originally introduced in 2007, the Prodigy collection features bedroom furniture designed to humanize challenging environments of inpatient and residential behavioral health facilities.
The Prodigy line features a proprietary TruGrain™ wood-grain texture and natural color variability that emulates the look and feel of home furnishings, but with the durability and safety necessary for healthcare.

The Prodigy collection features concealed hardware, rounded edges, and an anti-ligature design. Because it can be installed flush to the walls, it provides added security from being contraband-resistant and tamper-resistant. The Prodigy collection includes options for a platform bed, open chest, desk, and nightstand, all made with recycled materials and is fully recyclable. Its non-porous, one-piece assembly is designed for easy cleaning and can withstand frequent bleach cleaning or hospital-grade disinfectants for infection control.
