FirstService Residential's Community Manager Earns Impressive PCAM Designation

"Getting my PCAM certification was possible because of the leadership team at FirstService Residential. They faithfully encouraged me to go above and beyond what I thought was possible,” said Smith. “I continue to be proud to work for a company that supports personal growth and learning.”

FirstService Residential, the leading residential property management company in North America, announced that Ana Smith, community manager, has received her Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation issued by the Community Associations Institute (CAI). The PCAM certification is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management. Managers who have achieved this designation know how to preserve the character of the community, protect property values, meet a board’s expectations and build a true sense of community.

“We’re thrilled that Ana has achieved this level in her career,” said Michael Mendillo president, FirstService Residential. “She continues to be an asset to FirstService Residential, going above and beyond every day for our association clients.”

Smith has been with FirstService Residential for over 10 years and has held many roles as she has worked her way up within the organization. She brings a strong operational background coupled with powerful leadership and mentoring skills to her role.

“I’ve personally worked with Ana for over a decade and she continues to be a wonderful addition to our team and a strong contributor. Her attainment of this certification simply validates the hard work and results she brings to the organization,” said Dennis Abbott, president, Carolinas, FirstService Residential. “It better positions FirstService Residential and Ana to understand the unique needs of the communities we serve.”
