HERNDON, Va., April 30, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council and the Consumer Technology Association CTA® will host a new leadership event series, Masters of Leadership, showcasing innovative management strategies and bold leadership principles from some of the nation's most prominent public figures and business leaders.
Guest speakers will share key principles that guide their leadership style along with insights on what it will take to restart the country's economy following the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the series will offer both short- and long-term goals and strategies for safely establishing a new normalcy in an effort to position the country for forward progress.
"Businesses must adapt to change to survive – and thrive – during these uncertain times. This is an opportunity for businesses and organizations to gain insights on progressing forward from industry leaders," said Gary Shapiro, President and CEO, CTA, and NVTC board member.
The first two confirmed guest leaders are U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 followed by Eugene Scalia, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor, on Monday, May 11, 2020. Gary Shapiro will moderate the discussions.
