(PRWEB) January 23, 2015 -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council(NVTC) is seeking nominations by Feb. 13 to participate in Destination Innovation, the premier event highlighting the vibrant technology community in our region. Now in its fourth year, the event features an innovation competition, exhibition, networking and industry speakers. The program is presented by NVTC's Technology Innovations Committee, in partnership with Capital Business. Destination Innovation is the place to showcase innovations in front of key players in Northern Virginia’s technology community.
Companies receive great visibility as participants in the program. The selected companies are profiled on the Capital Business website for the online voting portion of the competition. The total number of online votes for the 2014 program surpassed 75,000. Competition winners will be recognized through various platforms by NVTC and Capital Business.
The in-person portion of the program brings together more than 200 members of the technology community. The event connects innovators from both large and small companies with parties interested in collaborating on technology development and job creation. Companies in the B2B, B2G, B2C and B2E markets will be able to network with potential partners and customers and promote further growth and technological advancements in our region.
“Being recognized as the 2014 Destination Innovation most innovative startup (security category) provided Key Cybersecurity Inc. with outstanding credibility and attracted investors, strategic partners and customers,” Shawn R. Key, Key Cybersecurity Inc., a 2014 participant, said of the program.
