Notify.com Adds Support for OpenNMS® Network Monitoring

Notify.com has announced support for the OpenNMS network management solution. OpenNMS is quickly gaining market share as organizations move away from proprietary platforms and seek open-source alternatives.

We developed our OpenNMS integration to accept event data into the Notify.com Alarm Management platform. This provides our users with the ability to specify when alarms will fire, based on selected parameters sent over from OpenNMS.

“One Touch Reply” Acknowledgement

Notify.com implements a unique message acknowledgement feature referred to as One Touch Reply.

One Touch Reply allows users to acknowledge receipt of their message, and optionally terminate a running escalation chain of notification, without the need to interact with the Notify.com web interface. One Touch Reply is supported on all PUSH notifications, SMS text messages, Email alerts and Voice telephone calls.

Notify.com logs the user associated with all message acknowledgements, and escalation terminations, for later review in Notify.com System Reporting.
