SAN FRANCISCO, June 10, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Novogradac continues to be one of the best CPA firms for women, according the 2019 Accounting MOVE Project report on the subject.
The San Francisco-based accounting and consulting firm was one of 14 firms recognized by the Accounting Move Project. This is the third-straight year that Novogradac received the honor.
The 2019 Accounting MOVE Project focuses on firms that have both a high proportion of women at most or all levels of management and proven success. Novogradac made both of the MOVE Project's lists: Best CPA Firms for Women and Best CPA Firms for Equity Leadership, which is based on the percentage of women partners and principals. Women make up more than 40 percent of Novogradac's partners and principals.
"One of the things Novogradac does best is provide flexibility for those who want to succeed," said Diana Letsinger, CPA and partner in Novogradac's Long Beach, Calif., office and member of the three-person executive team. "This flexibility is allowing us to recruit, retain and develop our next generation of firm leaders. This is certainly not a one-size-fits-all firm and the result of that benefits not only those who work here, but our clients, too."
The MOVE Project press release praised Novogradac's approach.
"Nobody can argue with this firm's resourceful, entrepreneurial approach to setting up partners for success–not when 40 percent of its partners and principals are women and 33 percent of its management committee are too," it said.
Michael J. Novogradac, managing partner for the company, expressed pride at the selection.
"We are again honored to be part of this list," Novogradac said. "Our goal is to always provide outstanding service to our clients and one of the keys to that is to invest in our employees and in their professional development. This is further validation of our approach."
