Noyes Wealth Management Group Adds Wealth Advisor Scott Schmidt to Its Team
CHICAGO, IL (PRWEB) June 13, 2016 -- Noyes, a 108 years old wealth management and investment-banking firm, announced today the appointment of Scott Schmidt to its Wealth Management Group.
Schmidt will be based at Noyes’ office in Elgin, IL. As a Wealth Advisor he will focus on providing comprehensive wealth management counsel and services to the firm’s clientele, as well as attracting new high-net-worth clients.
Prior to joining Noyes, Schmidt served as Investment Executive at Firth Third Securities, Inc. and he will continue his work as Founding Partner at Schmidt & Lerner, LLC, an Elgin, IL-based law firm specializing in estate planning.

Schmidt began his career in 2007 as an Associate Attorney at the law firm O’Connell, Tivin, Miller & Burns, LLC in Chicago, IL. In 2011, he joined Meritus Financial Group, Inc. There, as Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer and Securities and Investment Advisor, he managed the daily operations of Meritus Financial Group and Meritus Capital Management, as well as counseled clients on investment objectives and financial goals. In 2014 he moved to Fifth Third Securities, Inc. in Elgin, IL from where he then joined Noyes.
Schmidt holds a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. He is admitted to the Illinois State Bar. In addition, Schmidt holds FINRA Licenses 7, 24, 53, 63 and 65 and an Illinois Life, Health & Long-term Care License.
