The beautiful new NTS Chicago facility significantly expands the capabilities offered to our Chicago area clients, adding EMI / EMC testing to the suite of environmental and mechanical testing previously offered from the Palatine, IL facility.
Highlights of the newly constructed facility include a 5 meter semi-anechoic chamber for emissions measurements which contains a turntable and vehicle exhaust, three MIL-SPEC semi-anechoic chambers, and a reverberation chamber for HIRF (High Intensity Radiated Field) testing. The environmental and dynamic testing capabilities have also been enhanced with expanded ingress protection testing, blowing sand and dust, and extended capacity for high demand tests such as HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) and vibration testing.
Visitors to the October 6th Open House included the Mayor of the Village of Mount Prospect, Arlene Juracek, other civic leaders and NTS executives and board members. “We are pleased and excited to open this gorgeous new facility to our customers,” stated Vicki Panhuise, CEO of NTS, “NTS Chicago is now a full-service environmental and EMC laboratory ready to help our customers deliver products the world can trust.”
