With over 25 years of experience driving growth in the semiconductor and electronics industries, Tumilty will lead NuCurrent’s commercialization efforts.

Prior to joining NuCurrent, Tumilty served as senior director of Networking Software and Services at NXP, leading software commercialization, professional services and NXP’s Segment Solutions Lab. His team created near-market-ready devices for proof of concept and proof of performance and delivered key technologies and sub-systems enabling customer success in Networking, IOT, Industrial and Security market segments. Prior to NXP, he served as senior director of R&D at Freescale Semiconductor (acquired by NXP) leading a 500+ person global organization responsible for commercial and enablement software along with reference hardware design and manufacturing, serving customers in the mobile device, automotive and industrial markets. In the embedded market, he was also VP of sales for SDS, makers of SingleStep, the industry’s first graphical debugger, which was later purchased by Wind River Systems.
