NEW YORK (PRWEB) August 26, 2019
Nurse Mates’ brand DNA is rooted in philanthropy, and this Fall the brand recommences their annual passion project in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The fourth campaign will begin on August 26, with the launch of two limited-edition sneakers. A portion of proceeds from each sale will directly benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®, which is leading how the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer. St. Jude will also reprise their esteemed role as the official national charity partner for the #GiveHeartsForKids campaign.
“Nurse Mates is proud to once again work in partnership with St. Jude to raise awareness surrounding Childhood Cancer Awareness Month,” said Steve Johnson, National Sales Manager - Nurse Mates Division. “It has been a privilege to witness the #GiveHeartsForKids campaign evolve, and to continually surpass our fundraising goals each year. Giving back is a foundation of the healthcare industry, our team, along with our loyal community, and we will continue to devote ourselves to aiding St. Jude's mission."
The limited-edition collection features one style in two color combinations available on Nursemates.com as well as several additional online retailers. The Adela style is a favorite among the Nurse Mates consumer, and the brand’s take on this limited-edition version has been refashioned with shimmery gold goring as well as a gold heart in honor of the campaign. Shoes retail at $64.95 per pair, and Nurse Mates will donate $25 of each pair to St. Jude. The brand will also continue the campaign’s social media cause component, which has served as the foundation of the campaign since its launch, having the community feature hearts on their Instagram pages using the hashtag #GiveHeartsForKids. Additionally, $1 (up to $10,000), will be given for every post including a heart on Instagram using hashtag #GiveHeartsForKids during the month of September (limited to one post per Instagram user).
“We are incredibly grateful for Nurse Mates and its continued support of the lifesaving work at St. Jude,” said Richard Shadyac Jr., President and CEO of ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. “The #GiveHeartsForKids campaign has inspired the health-care community in addition to so many others who are uniting behind the St. Jude mission: Finding cures. Saving Children.”
