Pinnacle One Insurance and the Food Empowerment Project Extend Joint Charity Event to Promote Healthy, Sustainable Food Choices
San Jose, CA (PRWEB) August 17, 2016 -- Pinnacle One Insurance, a California-based insurance and financial planning firm that provides coverage to families and businesses in the Greater Bay Area and Santa Cruz areas, is extending a charity drive in support of the Food Empowerment Project to advocate for health and sustainability in food choices.
The Food Empowerment Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising the awareness of and advocating for healthy and socially positive foods. FEP does this by sharing real world information on resource depletion, unfair working policies, and abusive or wasteful farming practices, and by promoting informed and health-conscious choices when consuming food products.
“The Food Empowerment Project continuously works to create a healthier and happier society by providing current information on food growing and production practices, and we’re extending this charity event on their behalf,” says Robert Varich, founder and acting manager of Pinnacle One Insurance.
Varich and his team have already constructed an online social media platform and initiated a community email bulletin to gather support from California residents. Over the last two years, Pinnacle One Insurance has supported a dozen California-based charities and nonprofit organizations as part of a permanent community improvement campaign referred to as “Agents of Change.” Going forward, the Pinnacle Insurance team will be supporting a new regional charity every other month.
