Founded in 1983 by Bryan C.W. Tate, Digitel has been in business for 35 years providing a comprehensive suite of IT solutions to businesses with a focus on security and communication services. The acquisition of Digitel provides NXTsoft with an additional $6 million in annual revenue and adds 32 employees to the company.
Following the acquisition, Tate will transition into retirement and Jason Asbury, current president of NXTsoft's ThreatAdvice business unit will head Digitel. NXTsoft plans to retain all current employees and begin cross-selling their ThreatAdvice Security Services to Digitel's existing 600 clients.
