Valiant watches offer a classic, luxurious design at an affordable price point. "I have always been interested in watches. I once saw a watch outside a Blancpain shop window with a beautiful see-through mechanical design," said Drishin Balani, Founder and Owner of Odyssée. "I then looked at the price tag and saw that it was priced at over $130,000. I tried to find a watch with that kind of design and feel at a more affordable price but simply couldn't find one on the market. So, I decided to make a watch line of my own."
To create Valiant watches, the watchmaker strips the watch's dial and movement to its bare essentials revealing as much of the watch's interior as possible. The skeleton design clearly shows the regulating organ, the balance, and the escapement, creating luxurious, automatic skeleton watches at an affordable price. For watch aficionados who love the technical "openwork" artistry that goes into skeleton watchmaking, these luxury timepieces give a detailed look at the watch's inner workings, including its decorated automatic movement.
Each watch has an elegant 21 jewel automatic movement. The watch features a two-hand style, where both hands have a diamond cut finish, and a metal movement holder with a unique unibody style brass dial and a printed track.
The skeleton design is encompassed in a domed sapphire glass on the top, and a flat sapphire glass on the bottom. It is held together with a surgical and marine-grade stainless steel threaded case. Each watch has a 41mm diameter and is water-resistant up to 5ATM.
The watches are offered in four traditional, elegant colors to match any classic or trendy style — stainless steel (silver), black, rose gold, and gold. Valiant watches also have an interchangeable spring bar so the bands can easily be switched out. Each pre-order will include two bands, one made of stainless steel mesh and the other a black sustainable vegetable tanned leather.
All Valiant watches are packaged in a collector's box. The box features a high-quality cork exterior and a soft velvet interior. All boxes include a warranty card too, a token of appreciation to all customers.
