OFFECCT presents LifeCircle™ - a Unique Solution Giving Furniture Longer Lives

Offecct has for many years actively strived to contribute to a more sustainable society and has now taken a further step in giving its own products a prolonged lifespan. It creates an increased interest for a second hand market and contributes in creating a life circle around furniture and interior design.
- We have long been thinking about how we as producers can do more for our customers who chose, use and live with our products. We have reached the conclusion that we have to look at our role from a new angle, says Kurt Tingdal, CEO, Offecct.
With a developed technique Offecct goes beyond its traditional role as a producer and takes an even greater responsibility for its products and creates an increased value for its clients. OFFECCT LifeCircle™ follows the products from the beginning and later gives it a new life through regular care, service, re-upholstery, renovation as well as exchange.
Recently Gothia Science Park (GSP) in Skövde, Sweden, used this service. A number of Cornflake chairs used in the dining area of GSP had become dirty with time and use. Marie Lindholm of GSP contacted Offecct and together it was decided that the best option was to give the chairs new upholstery. New fabrics were chosen in similar vivid colours as before, and these were also given an extra stain-rejecting impregnation to further prolong their life span with numerous years.
- We are very satisfied with this service; everything went very well, says Marie Lindholm, Gothia Science Park. Offecct came to us and picked up the chairs, and brought them back within a week, as good as new.
