The award was created as part of Omaha Steaks sponsorship of All Pro Dad, and serves to recognize a deserving dad for their positive impact on their children and family. For winning, Alan will receive a Weber® Genesis® S-310™ LP gas grill, the Omaha Steaks® Ribeye Lover’s Package, and a meet-and-greet with Tony Dungy in Canton, Ohio.

The Omaha Steaks® All Pro Dad of the Year Contest kicked off in March, with semi-final winners chosen in April and May. Contestants submitted an “ad for dad” by creating a short video about their dad and sharing it on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #Ad4Dad.
Numerous videos were received from across the country and the finalists were featured in the Dad Department at http://www.OmahaSteaks.com/Dads. Alan’s wife Kerry submitted the winning #Ad4Dad video through Instagram. It featured their daughter Helen showing off everything her dad has taught her.
