Maple Lawn, MD (PRWEB) September 18, 2013 -- Joseph Bellinger, Chair of Offit Kurman’s Bankruptcy And Restructuring Practice Group, prevailed in a Motion to Dismiss a Complaint seeking damages of $225 million against his clients in the bankruptcy case of Inner Harbor West LLC Case Number 13-00111. The case involves a dispute over control of 45 acres of development property in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
James Hoffman and Bryn Sherman, proved a multi-million dollar fraud on a local financial institution. The Federal District Court affirmed the decision of the Bankruptcy Court denying the dischargeability of Jonathan Korman’s $2,925,941.39 obligation to EagleBank as well as denied a discharge of his debts to all other creditors for wrongdoing under the Bankruptcy Code. The decision also affirmed the Bankruptcy Court’s award of our Firm’s attorneys’ fees. The Federal Distric Court Case Number is PWG-12-3449.
