This year at the 2016 IFT, OHAUS will feature the Starter Series line of Bench, Portable and Pen Water Analysis Meters. Following the tradition of its weighing equipment, OHAUS has delivered a range of Water Analysis Meters and Electrodes that include practical design features while maintaining the same quality, reliability and affordability that OHAUS products are well known for. These meters are ideal for the testing of pH, Conductivity (EC), Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP), Salinity and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).
In addition, OHAUS will also feature products from their vast weighing portfolio including the Explorer and Adventurer line of high performance laboratory balances, the redesigned MB Series of durable moisture balances and the Valor Series of dedicated food scales, at IFT 2016.
The newly revamped industry favorite MB Series of moisture analyzers are led by the addition of the MB90 and MB120 balances. The MB90 and MB120 feature a cleverly designed and precisely controlled halogen heating system that distributes heat up to 230⁰C uniformly over the sample, ensuring a high degree of repeatability of the sample under test. Each unit features a large 4.3" touchscreen graphic display that provides users with an intuitive interface for easy set-up of drying programs and daily use of the instruments. With a sturdy housing and die-cast base, the MB90 and MB120 are designed for durability and longevity in any facility. The MB120 can store up to 100 drying methods and provides result storage for each, providing access of historical measurements and statistical analysis on groups of measurements. Further adding to the number of enhancements that will make daily moisture analysis more efficient, the MB120 contains a temperature guide, which allows the operator to determine an optimum drying temperature, removing the need for tedious experimentation to determine a proper method.
The OHAUS Explorer and Adventurer laboratory balances include an array of practical features for today's food technologists. Features include large touchscreen displays that make viewing weighing results an easy task and intuitive SmarText 2.0 software that allows uncomplicated balance set up and menu navigation. Also available are real time GLP/GMP data input and output capabilities to meet compliance requirements and high weighing capacities for a variety of research laboratory needs.
Lastly, the Valor Series of compact food scales are built to withstand the daily rigors of food processing and production facilities. The Valor Series includes optional stainless steel washdown housing for easy cleaning and use in harsh environments, large dual LCD display with less than 1 second stabilization time for increased efficiency, durable knife proof keypad, and rechargeable battery for flexibility to be used throughout the facility.
