She is a peer-reviewed published author with research experience in dermatology, skin cancer, and cell cycle biology. Additionally, she has taught resident and medical student education at the University of Washington. She is an active member of the Women's Dermatologic Society, American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, and Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society.
