Old York Cellars Hosts BeauJerséy Nouveau Day Celebration Unveiling Thanksgiving Dinner's Perfect Pairings
Old York Cellars (OYC), one of the oldest vineyards in the Garden State, will host the first BeauJerséy Noveau Day on Thursday, Nov. 21, to celebrate the release of the winery's 2019 BeauJerséy Noveau Red and BeauJerséy Noveau Rosé wines just in time for Thanksgiving.
RINGOES, N.J., Nov. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Old York Cellars (OYC), one of the oldest vineyards in the Garden State, will host the first BeauJerséy Noveau Day on Thursday, Nov. 21, to celebrate the release of the winery's 2019 BeauJerséy Noveau Red and BeauJerséy Noveau Rosé wines just in time for Thanksgiving.
BeauJerséy Noveau Day is named after the French tradition of Beajoulais Noveau Day, which commemorates the release of the season's first wines. In the United States, this day is often associated with Thanksgiving because of how seamlessly these versatile wines pair with the traditional American turkey dinner.
"We are excited to unveil our new line of BeauJerséy Noveau wines to celebrate the great harvest season and Thanksgiving," said David Wolin, owner of Old York Cellars. "The traditional Beajoulais Noveau has always been a Thanksgiving staple, and we are confident our take on this classic will perfectly blend with family dinners across the Garden State. We hope our event on Nov. 21 will become a great New Jersey tradition to officially kick-off the holiday season."
At its Ringoes location, OYC will be hosting an open tasting room session, uncorking its new red and rosé wines at noon. Winemakers will be present to answer any questions regarding these new additions to the OYC inventory, and the event will be broadcast on Facebook Live.
As customers enjoy the tasting session in Ringoes, trucks will be loaded for delivery of BeauJerséy Nouveau to OYC's retail locations at the Bridgewater Commons Mall and Quaker Bridge Mall. Beginning at 5 p.m. at the Quaker Bridge location, there will be a special BeauJerséy tasting menu designed by renowned Chef José Diaz to complement the wines. Simultaneously at Bridgewater, Diaz has created a special pairing platter for guests. These offerings highlight the continued efforts of OYC to innovate in the winery retail space by offering customers a more refined and inspired experience within the traditional mall environment.

About Old York Cellars
One of the oldest vineyards in the Garden State, Old York Cellars (http://www.oldyorkcellars.com) offers a full selection of award-winning wines for wine lovers from Philadelphia to Manhattan. Owner David Wolin's vision was to create a world-class winery in New Jersey utilizing new and old-world techniques and the best grape varietals the region has to offer. The property offers scenic views of the Sourland Mountain range and 25 acres of preserved farmland and rolling vineyards with vines that were the first to produce wine under the New Jersey Farm Act of 1981. The winery now has two tasting and retail locations in the Bridgewater Commons Mall and the Quaker Bridge Mall, the latter of which includes Spanish cuisine from Chef José Diaz.
