PRESS RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Oldenburg Electronics™, a designer and manufacturer of electronics products serving the lighting, mining, defense and industrial markets introduces the new Low Voltage Control Interface with Dimming (LVPC-DIM).
Now patient rooms can easily incorporate dimmed lighting with a single button control found at most patient bedsides. The LVPC-DIM module from Oldenburg Electronics adds dimming capability of two lighting loads via low-voltage, momentary contact switches. Press and release the button to turn the lights on and off, press and hold the button to dim up or down. Dimmed lighting can enhance the patient experience by providing individual control of the environment, which is comforting when much of what happens in a hospital is out of the patient’s control.
LED or fluorescent loads can be dimmed when used with 0-10 volt dimming LED drivers or fluorescent ballasts. One additional load can be controlled with on/off. No programming is necessary, it is configured in the field using DIP switches. Other applications for the controller include classrooms, conference rooms, electric doors and window treatments.
It installs in dry locations using a suitable electrical enclosure or within the luminaire (space and temperature permitting). It is UL 508 listed for the U.S. and Canada and is RoHS compliant. The LVPC-DIM adds dimming flexibility where it was previously difficult to achieve.
