ONE RIVER Announces Northeast Expansion: Franchise Announces Opening of First Long Island Location; Connecticut and Central New Jersey Locations to Follow
ONE RIVER art and design school to add six tri-state locations in 2019, including three on Long Island.
ENGLEWOOD, N.J., Feb. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- ONE RIVER, the most innovative art education franchisor in America, today announced it will officially open its first Long Island location on March 9, 2019 in Woodbury, NY. The school is the first of three facilities to open on Long Island this year, as ONE RIVER school has embarked on an aggressive Northeast Expansion program.
ONE RIVER also anticipates opening two schools in central New Jersey and one in Westport, CT in early Spring.

Ross, the former CEO of the School of Rock, said he is currently receiving interest in the franchise from several markets including Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Baltimore.
"There's a wave across the country to unlock each individual's creativity and, frankly speaking, nobody is equipped to do that in the art and design education space the way ONE RIVER is," he said. "We developed a proprietary curriculum that provides a 360-degree view of art and focuses on contemporary artists and emerging regional artists. The Woodbury school is set to open on March 9, with two days of free art workshops for children and adults during the weekends of March 9-10 and 16-17. The Grand Opening weekends will also allow families to learn about ONE RIVER 's programs in studio art and digital design. Classes begin on March 18. ONE RIVER will be opening a location in Port Jefferson, NY and another Nassau County later this year.
