Fashion, music and philanthropy collide when One to None, the non-profit organization dedicated to assisting those living with Type 1 diabetes, hosts “Fashion for a Cure” a fashion show and fundraiser on Saturday, February 8. The upscale event will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Turtle Point Yacht & Country Club, 1000 Club Drive, Killen, Alabama 35645.
Proceeds from “Fashion for a Cure” will go toward One to None’s assistance programs as well as Type 1 diabetes research. Tickets are $35 per person and available online, or at the door.

The event will feature fashions from Alabama-based designers such as Billy Reid, Alabama Chanin, PSI, Parker Bingham, Marigail’s Fashion House, Mel + Grace, Cherry Tree Lane and Alabama Outdoors. Music will be provided by DJ Nate and guests will receive a specialty bourbon cocktail upon arrival.
One to None was established in 2018 by Martha Taylor Johnson after her son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. It is dedicated to raising money for medical research and to providing financial assistance to those in need through unique fundraising events.
